Welcome to the Blind & Deaf Awareness living document

This is a living, ongoing workspace! This document officially started 6/20/09 in anticipation of the Helen Keller day in Second Life on 6/27/09 as a 3D wiki game. Please edit/create new pages and invite others to contribute to the workspace with you.

It's all about ideas and sharing!

Hopefully this can help our world become a much more aware place as the globe gets more 'flat' and society gets more connected through visual spaces. The key message here is 'inclusion for everyone in virtual worlds' but spans far beyond that into helping people cope with and understand blindness & deafness, creating a more inclusive, visual world.
